Why I built
MTR Analytics

Monthly rentals aren’t short-term stays with a longer calendar — renters book differently and care about different things. I talked to a lot of hosts who didn’t know how to reach monthly travellers or which employers and hospitals drove demand. I was also tired of poor-quality listings on Furnished Finder. So I built MTR Analytics: real 30+ night comparables, an Opportunity Finder with demand-driver contacts, and a Listing Optimizer so hosts can improve their listings with data, not guesswork.

My story

I travelled as a digital nomad for two years, living in monthly furnished housing across 14 different states. That showed me how different monthly renters are from vacation guests. My background is in software engineering, so I started talking to hosts and building.

They didn’t know how to get monthly travellers or who to contact — that’s why the Opportunity Finder exists, with demand drivers and contact info. I was also tired of weak listings on Furnished Finder, so I built the Listing Optimizer: grades, AI-rewritten copy, photo scoring, and next steps. After working with landlords, they wanted tools to analyze markets, price right, and underwrite deals — so we added the Market Analyzer, real comparables, and deal analysis.

Today we cover every U.S. zip code and tens of thousands of markets, all focused on helping indie hosts find demand, optimize their listings, and make better decisions.
